Cliffwood Heights is a Capitola neighborhood that was built in the 60’s. The homes were a mix of single and two story houses with most being 3 or 4 bedroom. There were a number of floor plans and options for a pool, which seemed to be popular. The homes had shake roofs and for Capitola, larger lots, with most being 5000 square feet or more, and had 2 car garages. In contrast to the Jewel Box, these were a nice change. The proximity to New Brighton Beach is an appealing feature as well. Cabrillo College is close by, which is nice and the location has great freeway access, yet it does not have the noise. Cliffwood Heights has a sister development that you wouldn’t be able to tell called SeaView Terrace. The larger of the homes here approach 3000 square feet and 5 bedrooms, something which is uncommon in Capitola.
