When I think of Aptos, I think of the rich history since the days of Spreckels and all the interesting early farming and logging that started this area. I also think of the diversity of real estate. Aptos is generally the area that ranges from Highway 1 and east per our MLS, and is further bounded by the Larkin Valley area to the south to Soquel in the north. The post office recognizes the whole area as Aptos, which is much larger than the Aptos MLS designated area. But it also includes the communities of Seacliff, Rio Del Mar, Seascape and Larkin Valley. In Aptos there are luxury beach homes, oceanview condominiums, and country estates with some of the best country neighborhoods around.
