Nationwide, 30-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 6.30%, for the week ending February 15, up from last week's 6.28%. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 6.28%. The official numbers are in for 2006 with the local Palm Beach County real estate market experienced a singificant decline in the number of homes sold compared with 2005. And home prices backed away from double digit increases in prior years to register a decline in overall price points. U.S. News & World Report has ranked Pasco County in the top ten list for population growth in the United States from 2000 to 2005.
