Seller’s Market Or Buyer’s Market?
Well, the answer to that question is neither. The market today is a very volatile one that just can’t seem to make up its mind. I continue to hear people say “It’s a Buyer’s market. Look at all the properties for sale! Homes are a dime a dozen”. This is a partially true statement. There are many homes on the market right now. But for the market to be considered a “Buyer’s Market” the homes have to be priced correctly and moving off the market quickly. Quickly is a tricky word that can be defined differently depending on who you talk to. When I think of what ‘Quickly’ means I think of less than 3 months. I think that time frame is reasonable and realistic even in today’s market.
Sell Your Home When Homes Aren’t Selling.

Tennessee VOLS Men's Basketball | VOLS Upset Memphis And Take #1
What a game! I love to watch the VOLS play, especially last night. There was really no doubt in our minds that the VOLS were capable of taking Memphis. With the exception of Kentucky, the VOLS have dominated the best, hardest conference in the NCAA. SEC baby! Bruce pearl has done wonders for the program and for the schools soon to be insane recruiting program. I don't think they'll have any issues attracting some of the best high school phenoms in the country after this season. I know, I may be putting the cart in front of the horse, but I don't think so. #1 in the country!! That speaks volumes. We'll see what the rest of the season holds and hopefully we hold that position going into the Championship. I think we'll seed just fine!

I was going through all the different feeds that I have set up on Google Reader this morning and I came across a post titled "Seth's Advice for Real Estate Agents". It was about another marketing tactic/tool from the ever so creative people over at Squidoo. I currently have a few lenses that I have created in Squidoo as well as a page from the Ever Project. This newest project allows the user to essentially become the "Mayor of a zipcode". It is yet another way to promote yourself as an authority on the area/s that you service as well as adding one more thing to your portfolio of diversification when it comes to SEO.
I have started my very own page for the City of Sevierville. Who would of thought I would be the Mayor of Sevierville.

REALTOR: Friend Or Foe?!
Last night I was up late tying up some loose ends with a few prospective deals that I have brewing. It was about 2 am and I decided to hit that ever so addicting "StumbleUpon" button (I love it!). After a few stumbles I came upon an article titled Why You Can't Trust Real Estate Agents When Buying a House. After reading this article I became slightly perturbed at the fact that someone had just taken my profession which I love and thoroughly enjoy and generalized me into a stereotype created by people that have had some bad experiences.
I do know that there are REALTORS® out there that are shady and sinister and do a disservice to their clients. I have heard the stories and have been on the other side of deals with one or two of them. They DO give us…

Sevierville, TN : This Quiet Giant Has Emerged From The Shadows! Part 1
I can remember as a small child vacationing to East Tennessee in the small towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. They were small quaint towns with an americana feel that was like no other place I had ever been. The City of Sevierville was just a small town that you drove through to reach your destination. There was very little business or tourism in Sevierville, but it turns out that it would be a economic and commercial giant that had been hibernating for decades.
Currently both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are chock full of hotels, attractions, outlet malls, and restaurants. These businesses generate billions of dollars each year. To be exact, Sevier County ranked third highest among all Tennessee counties in travel expenditures in 2005 at just…
