Well, the answer to that question is neither. The market today is a very volatile one that just can’t seem to make up its mind. I continue to hear people say “It’s a Buyer’s market. Look at all the properties for sale! Homes are a dime a dozen”. This is a partially true statement. There are many homes on the market right now. But for the market to be considered a “Buyer’s Market” the homes have to be priced correctly and moving off the market quickly. Quickly is a tricky word ... Read Full Post

What a game! I love to watch the VOLS play, especially last night. There was really no doubt in our minds that the VOLS were capable of taking Memphis. With the exception of Kentucky, the VOLS have dominated the best, hardest conference in the NCAA. SEC baby! Bruce pearl has done wonders for the program and for the schools soon to be insane recruiting program. I don't think they'll have any issues attracting some of the best high school phenoms in the country after this season. I know, I may ... Read Full Post

I was going through all the different feeds that I have set up on Google Reader this morning and I came across a post titled "Seth's Advice for Real Estate Agents". It was about another marketing tactic/tool from the ever so creative people over at Squidoo. I currently have a few lenses that I have created in Squidoo as well as a page from the Ever Project. This newest project allows the user to essentially become the "Mayor of a zipcode". It is yet another way to promote yourself as an autho... Read Full Post

Last night I was up late tying up some loose ends with a few prospective deals that I have brewing. It was about 2 am and I decided to hit that ever so addicting "StumbleUpon" button (I love it!). After a few stumbles I came upon an article titled Why You Can't Trust Real Estate Agents When Buying a House. After reading this article I became slightly perturbed at the fact that someone had just taken my profession which I love and thoroughly enjoy and generalized me into a stereotype created b... I can remember as a small child vacationing to East Tennessee in the small towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. They were small quaint towns with an americana feel that was like no other place I had ever been. The City of Sevierville was just a small town that you drove through to reach your destination. There was very little business or tourism in Sevierville, but it turns out that it would be a economic and commercial giant that had been hibernating for decades. Currently both Pigeon Forge... Relocate to Tennessee! Some of the top reasons why you should relocate to East Tennessee... 1. Beauty – The areas in and around East Tennessee have some of the most beautiful scenery in all of North America. We have the mountains to the east and mountains to the west. Very few things are more breathtaking than the sunrising from behind the Mountains of North Carolina. Sunsets are equally beautiful as the sun disappears behind the horizon of one of our many lakes. There are over 1,600 flower... Read Full Post
