Buyers are buying and sellers are smiling as the Phoenix Metro Real Estate market improves

The media is quick to jump on the gloom and doom bandwagon regarding the current real estate market around the country.  Why aren’t they reporting on what’s been happening in the Phoenix Metro area over the last few weeks?

The market reports are reflecting a recent steady improvement to our market (see chart below). 

Yes, Buyers are buying and sellers are smiling.  Let’s shout it from the rooftops…or at least from our nightly news?

 
This weekly report will indicate an improvement (indicated in Green) when our “Active Listings” Decrease & our “Pending” and “Sold” Listings Increase.
 
While the Phoenix Real Estate market is currently experiencing a high inventory of homes for sale resulting in a buyer’s market, our market seems to be making a positive trend.  With more buyer activity over the last few weeks, our market inventory has continued to fall.  The Southeast Valley is now carrying less than a year’s worth of inventory! 

 

We currently have  12.7 months worth of inventory in

(A market improvement over last week.)

I will second that! The negativity coming from the national media is becoming tiresome. It is time that they either shift their point of view or cover a new topic. BTW: Glad to hear that the market is also doing well in Phoenix.

Thanks Ryan!  I've been so busy lately.  I've sold 15 homes in the last 4 weeks.  4 of those are listings that sold within a week of being listed.  Something is brewing and I'm surprised the media's not all over it.  Oh wait...no I'm not.
