The Fraser Valley Real Estate Boards serves the communities of North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Mission and Abbotsford. The region has a mix of land uses, ranging from rural to urban and agricultural to industrial. The Fraser Valley region offers condos, townhomes, single family homes, acreages and farms to suit any life style and budget.
Much of the Fraser Valley agricultural land is protected by the ALR (Agriculture Land Reserve) and accounts for more than half of BC's annual agricultural revenue.
Fraser Valley Rural Real Estate
Fraser Valley has some of the most fertile soil in the world. Although it only amounts to a small fraction of the total provincial area, it accounts for more than half of the annual agricultural output of BC.
The farms in the regions range from small parcels of 10 - 15 acres to larger ones hundreds of acres in area. Berry farming is one of the most profitable agri-business in the region, with blueberry farming being at the top. This boom in blueberry farming has caused farmland values to increase mutlifold over the last few years.
