Downtown Denver Real Estate and Living

As I drove to my office downtown, I was curious what it would feel like now that the buzz created by such a large event rolling through our town. The first thing I noticed as I approached downtown was that there were streets blocked off still. I thought this odd, then it occured to me that A Taste of Colorado is going on downtown this weekend. This is always a fun event and a good time, with lots of good food to try. On this holiday weekend, take the opportunity to stroll downtown and check it out.
As I parked my car, there was no denying that there were considerably less people downtown, the massive police presence during the DNC had subsided and the streets were back to a normal layout and volume. Despite the buzz may be gone, but there is still an energy about downtown Denver that is bubbling below the surface. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about Denver that I have always found very appealing. Most likley it's that, in my opinion, Denver is an optimum size. Large enough to give a big city feel and excitement, but not soo big that you can never park, or get to where you need to go without leaving a day in advance.
