There are a lot of people who have no idea what their credit score is. Knowing your score and what is on your credit can save you thousands of dollars in the long run. Sometimes your credit has inaccurate information that does not belong there, well if you don't make this aware to the credit bureaus that information will remain your report and affect it negatively.There are many companies that charge money who claim they can remove negative credit from your report this is false, only inaccurate findings on your report will be removed. Here are some quick tips to help improve your score.

1) Don't fret over negative reporting,but get back on track and make sure you have no late payments here on in. When going for a loan most lenders give more weight to your recent 1-2 year history.

2) Pay down your credit cards, being overextended can hurt your credit score, make sure you keep your balance under 50% of the credit limit.

3) Order a credit report, there are three credit reporting companies they are listed below. You are entitled to one free credit report per year.
