Embedding Google Maps

I have been fooling around with Google maps lately. I have recently embedded some google maps into my website and blogs. For those who have not used google maps they are actually pretty easy to use.

First thing you should do is go to maps.google.com and signup for a google account. Now you can save all the maps you create here.

Now to create a map just enter an address, you can then add a placemark and enter any information you like for the address.

You can create as many placemarks you like and then save the map.

You have an option to insert an html that is provided into your website or you can add a hyperlink.

Here is an example of a map I created Riverview Homes

I've started using these also, not only on my website for open houses and listings, but also my blogs. Also, you can add html to the pin text.

I have been using this instead of writing the java script myself. It saves alot of time. Here check it out. http://www.roguemenace.com/gmapgen/ Of course you have to sign up for a api key first. I turned out 30 pages with maps on each one of different areas in only 1 hour.
