2008 is going to be great!

I'd like my first blog post of the New Year to be positive about the Real Estate market since 2007 was such a negative. Right now we have many buyers sitting on the sidelines just waiting for the very lowest possible price. Sort of like speculation in reverse this time it is the buyers waiting to time the market. I guess it can be argued a million different ways whether it is the right time to buy. The way I look at real estate is and always will be a great long term investment. The Tampa real estate market has made its adjustment and the biggest price depreciations have already been taken in my opinion. With low interest rates combined with low home sales prices now is a great opportunity for first time home buyers to take advantage of the market. Hopefully 2008 will bring more first time home buyers into the game and not just sitting on the sidelines.
