Internet sales person hangs up on me

Ok this was a first. I actually had a internet salesperson hang up on me today, usually it is me hanging up on them. We received an email from this Sales Manager from epagelisting so my wife calls after I told her it probaly is a lead company trying to sell their leads but call just to make sure, she turns the phone over to me after a few minutes. He starts going on how they have qualified buyers in Brandon that they can guarantee 3-5 buyers and guarantees they are real qualified buyers, no lookie lous and such. For the low cost of $500 per month plus 15% of the commision. Now usually I hang up on them at this point but this time I let him rattle on.

I then ask the gentleman don't you think I could spend $500 per month of my hard earned dollars on google ppc and get a better return than from someone that calls me out of the blue to guarantee me qualified buyers.  His reply is yes but they are garbage leads. I said garbage leads from google, are you kidding me? He then goes on to say they are on three search engines and I wisely point out to him that google is the number one search engine. Now I know at this point he knows absoluety nothing about web marketing, google, and internet leads.

Now here is the kicker he gives me the we rank #1 on search engines, Oh no not the we are #1 on search engines line. I can't take this anymore, I then ask him are you number one for the term brandon real estate he then goes on a rant on how he is not going to get in a sparring match with me and that they have serious brokers willing to work with them( that's why you are cold calling me) and proceeds to hangup. I guess he wasn't from the school of don't take no for an answer. I felt like I just knocked out Mike Tyson.

I bet you do rank for #1 for The world's most annoying lead generating company who has no idea what they're talking about.
