An index of single-family home prices for the Chicago-Naperville-Joliet area went up 4.9% in the 12 months ended Sept. 30, down from a 9.8% gain in the prior year, according to Fiserv Lending Solutions, a unit of Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv Inc.

New Generation or just a to good to be true idea....
can this help all of us in our commerce and design....?

The iPhone's new touch interface might be nice, but it's nowhere near as involved as the future UI envisioned in Minority Report, where Tom Cruise could drag objects across the screen and manipulate them in all kinds of ways, or "push" them aside to bring up something new. Jeff Han, a research scientist at NYU's Courant Institute, has come up with such an interface, which responds not only to touch and gestures, but to varying degrees of pressure. The more I think about it.... the more I come across a question of the ages...
Should you buy a condo for around 300K or invest an extra 50-75k and get a duplex in the area that i want...
from what i noticed, when you think about living in a city , a more urban and up and coming area of Chicago.. Wicker Park or Buck town for instance... you have to realize that 300-400k is going to get you nothing more then a modern unit on a single floor or a duplex....
realizing that... I think it is so much better to have a double floor unit rather then a single...
