Edmond Oklahoma Real Estate Market Strong, but Becoming Buyer-Friendly

Despite dismal media reports of the national real estate market, the Edmond, Oklahoma real estate market continues to be strong.  Sales statistics for 2007 prove that more homes are selling, and average home prices continue to increase.  In fact, home sales have risen every year in Edmond since the year 2000.

However, average days on market increased slightly in 2007.  One reason for the increase in the average selling time could be that there is an increase in inventory, resulting in more of a buyer's market.  This is great news for buyers looking to move to Edmond, especially considering the recent reduction in mortgage interest rates.
