He subsequently built a number of hotels which boasted exceptional amenities and luxuries.

It is with this strong sense of heritage and culture that St. Augustine has maintained its excitement. Many events and attractions are celebrated year-round which focus on St. Augustine’s rich past.

St. Augustine’s Bright Future

The resort town of St. Augustine enjoys a strong, healthy economy and an equally strong housing market. In addition, it looks like both are here to stay if the surroundings continue to lure people to live, work and visit here.

St. Augustine boasts 60 themed attractions and historical sites. Visitors can visit one of the many museums which boast St. Augustine memorabilia and historical artifacts, or enjoy a romantic getaway complete with visits to St. Augustine’s wineries, spas, art galleries, waterfront restaurants and antique shops.

St. Augustine is a golfer’s delight, as there are more than a dozen golf courses in the area. It is even home to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Outdoor enthusiasts will also have plenty to do in St. Augustine, with a fine array of watersports available at any time.
