Unfortunatley, the home is not listed with this realtor in Hamilton.  However, they did put it for sale with the real estate agent who sold it to them.  I can respect that and forgive them.  I live in a mature part of Hamilton Ontario where big old trees line the streets and the homes are full of character, lots of inlay hardwood, stained glass windows, gumwood trim etc.  The downside is parking or lack of it.  So I watch with amusement at the initial flurry of showings with sales agents and their clients showing up in 2 or 3 cars trying to find someplace to park.  What amazes me is the rudeness of many agents.  They pull into everyone else's driveway as if that was their right or pull up in front of driveways blocking parked cars.  They don't knock on…

I have been a realtor in the Hamilton Ontario area for 25 years, currently at Royal LePage in Hamilton and have seen so many changes, most of which have been beneficial to increasing the public's perspective of professionalism of the real estate agent's role in the home buying and selling process.  However, along with incxreased professionalism, there has been an increase in liability.  For the last number of years, buyers have had to contend with increased and varied criteria to allow them to get home insurance for their new purchase.  Insurance companies are hesitant to insure knob and tube wiring, older roofs, outdated plumbing etc.  It is very common in our market area to include conditions to allow the buyer to satisfy himself that insurance will be…
