Belcaro Real Estate ~ Affluent Denver Neighborhoods

One of the most fashionable neighborhoods in all of Denver, Belcaro luxury homes can be found between Colorado Boulevard and Steel Street, from Tennessee Boulevard to Cherry Creek Drive. There are plenty of amenities in Belcaro, and its location is ideal.

Belcaro real estate features large lots, and many homes built in the 60s and 70s. there are ranch homes, and some two-story homes as well. Homes start at around $300,000, and go up to over $1,000,000 in the Belcaro neighborhood. As one of many affluent Denver neighborhoods, Belcaro is known for its large and well-kept lawns, and is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in all of Denver.

Above all, Belcaro real estate is conveniently located. It’s minutes from the Cherry Creek shopping district, for example. Downtown Denver is just about 15 minutes away, as well. One of the city’s best-loved parks, Washington Park, isn’t far, and neither is the Denver Country Club. Belcaro gives residents access to light rail, as well as to Interstate 25.

Belcaro is also home to a historic Grand Mansion. The Phipps mansion was originally owned by a treasurer for Carnegie Steel and senator for Colorado, Lawrence C. Phipps. This 54-room red brick Georgian mansion is, today, owned by the University of Denver. The mansion was designed by Fisher and Fisher with help from renowned architect Charles Platt from New York. It features more than 27,000 square feet.
