I have been on the path of becoming an agent in Virginia for some time and the time is finally here. If you followed me here and other places that I visit on the net then you would know that getting my real estate license is something that I have planned for some time and finally I am a full pledged agent with Weichert Realtors.
The reason it took so long was because I have had a very busy 2011 working my other business in Cyprus doing the SEO and all the online marketing for three websites which are doing very well. So now we have resourced some of the work to others and increased the PPC budget allowing me to concentrate my efforts on a more traditional way (Face to face) doing real estate in Virginia. Of course I will use everything I learned about SEO and online marketing to help me find new customers.
The area that I will be working in is Northern Virginia (NOVA) and it's a suburb of Washington D.C. It's a highly populated area of the country which covers three counties, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudon county. All three are within 30-40 minutes from D.C. This area also boasts one of the best public schools in the country and also one of the safest. This is the main reason my wife and I decided to move back here when we moved back from Cyprus.

Hi Cleo, I have been so focused on building my presense on line and SEO any tips you can pass along would be appreciated. I had a company do a lot for me, but I do a ton of blogging and always trying to increase my presense.

Thanks for commenting Mark. You seem to be pretty active and doing well online. The only formulas that I stick to or recommend are to try everything that comes along at least once and if it's worth the effort you will know because it will keep coming back to you. I feel in a way it's like having a can of paint and you are a Graffiti artists and everywhere you go you have to leave your mark. If the wall is big enough or seen by a bigger audience then you leave a bigger mural. Example: Please join me on Virginia real estate Google+ page it's the newest social network and what can be more important than working with Google? And for my Cyprus friends I have a Google+ Cyprus property page.
