CHAUTAUQUA LAKE – Another Season, Another View
Posted Oct 8, 2009 @ 11:31 am, Viewed by 131 Visitors, Read 138 Times. The weather here in Chautauqua County is turning colder, the leaves are changing to the brilliant colors of autumn that we have grown to love in this area, and my hibernation mode is kicking in full gear. But I am not ready to succumb just yet….
So I got in the car and drove. Drove around Chautauqua Lake and noticed how bare and calm the lake looked without the usual summer activities. How serene and peaceful it looked with no docks, boats, or people. I even got out of my car and just stood there to feel the air on my face.
How lucky we are to have such a magnificent resource right in our backyard. I wonder how many people who visited our area this summer feel the same way. What did you all do while you were here? Where did you stay on the lake? Will we welcome you back next year to explore even more than you did this year?
I would love to hear from you about your experiences around Chautauqua Lake during any time of the year you happened to be here. Please keep checking back for photos of the seasons, different events, and other information you will certainly find useful. I wonder what I’ll find this weekend…..
