One of the things that keeps me sane at work is the ability to listen to music while I'm working. Uploading/emailing/coding can get very tedious and repetitive, but listening to music helps me stay awake for those 8 hours on a computer every day. A university in Windsor did a study with 56 software designers (41 male, 15 female) from different companies over five weeks.
