What Constitutes A Successful Day?

photo doogers

Having a career in real estate makes it hard to determine a successful day of work. The only way you get paid is if the home or property closes. Unfortunately, for most real estate agents a closing doesn’t take place every day. There will be times were you will go days, weeks, and even months before you get paid. I will explain to you what a good day of work is for me, and hopefully this will challenge you to find your own successful day.   Real estate has a lot of ups and downs so you need to be doing things that will produce results in the long run. Not everyday are you going to be able to sell a home, pick up a buyer or get a listing, so you can not define a successful day by doing this or not doing this. For me what constitutes a good day is doing… Read Full Post

Real estate can be a great career, but it is not as easy as it looks to become successful. In my last article I talked about the reasons why you should become a real estate agent. Before I get into the reasons of why you shouldn’t become a realtor I want to go over the reasons why you should. First and foremost, the harder you work the more money you are going to make. Not only can you make a lot of money but there is no limit to how much money you can make. Another reason why you should become a real estate agent is that you can create your own schedule. With a flexible schedule you are able to sleep in when you need to, and go home to watch a basketball game during March Madness. I will get to the reasons why a flexible schedule is not always good a… Read Full Post

Real estate can be a very lucrative career, but it takes hard work, perseverance, and a little luck along the way. Many people join the real estate field because of the potential for great wealth and because of the relative ease of getting a license. Before I explain why you should become I real Estate agent, I first want to touch on a few negatives of being a Realtor. The main drawbacks to becoming a realtor is that it is very expensive, frustrating, and can be very stressful. When getting into this exciting career of real estate, I was warned that 70% of agents are out of the business within a year. I do not know how realistic that statistic is, but it is obvious that there is a high turnover rate in this business. Too much money goes out and not enough…
