Communication is Key
Posted Jul 1, 2008 @ 6:07 pm, Viewed by 149 Visitors, Read 149 Times. One of the biggest complaints that I hear about Real Estate agents is that they listed my home and I never heard from them again. Because of these complaints of other Realtors part of my listing presentation is focused on explaining my communication and why I stay in contact with them. I even let them know that it is not always easy to give feedback and be in communication but it is better that they know what is going on than not have any idea.
As an agent it seems easier to stay in contact with clients on a regular basis than calling them once in a while. Have you ever went a month without contacting a seller? I have and it was much more difficult than telling them weekly that we haven't had any activity on their home.
Sellers love agents who stay in touch with them, and if the listing happens to expire, most times they will re-list with you because of the communication that was made while it was listed.
