T-mobile data card not that great!

So I wanted to be online 24x7. Inconveniences like leaving my home office couldn't be a hinderance to my being online.
So I went ahead and got a data card on T-mobile's EDGE network. G2.5 in case your counting.
Speeds are about 35 kbps at best during the day. I don't even care how fast they are at night. This is pathetic. I have a year contract, so I'll deal with it. My advice would be to go get an EVDO Rev. A card from Verizon if you need wireless data.

Drew - you could always just get a Blackberry - several models offer the built-in high-speed modem. It's wicked fast - you just plug the handset into your laptop with a USB cable
