David Phillips, a Fairly Common Name

I do a lot of work online.  Developing my real estate website is one of my primary tasks.  As a result, I track several metrics while trying to figure out how people are finding me online.  Turns out, I am usually in the top 10 for "David Phillips."  Now is it because everyone knows me?  Or perhaps everyone knows at least one of us and wants to know more.  After using this little tool, I am starting to think that I am not quite as popular as my ego would like me to believe!

I find it interesting that I have never met another David Phillips.  Oh, I have met plenty of people who know us.  I have even seen my namesakes on TV, in print, and online.  Some have even emailed me (and presumably the other 5,376 David Phillips) to let me know all about it.  There is a Jim Smith club that meets regularly.  Perhaps it is time to start a David Phillips club...

Anyway, it is a fun tool to play around with.  Let me know if anyone beats my record of 5,378.
