Toronto Condos Neighbourhoods: Waterfront

One glance at Toronto's Waterfront will tell even the most traveled visitor here is a place that's special. A larger plane flies silently in its vapour trail toward Toronto's International Airport and a smaller Cessna buzzes toward the scenic Island Airport. The Waterfront looks like a green belt speckled with rubies of industry and it offers everything from fine dining at top notch establishments like The Mizzen to sushi and even a Shopsy's for those heading to the baseball game at the nearby Roger's Center. When you leave Union Station for the short walk that passes right under the bustle of the Gardner Expressway, you might think you need a passport because you've traveled to another city in another time.
Toronto's Waterfront is sleek and modern - every year the locale hosts an International Jazz Festival-so one no one could be blamed for thinking as a part of the modern young city of Toronto that it wouldn't have a past, but it does. There's a feeling here that the past and the future are at peace.
