My REW Blog helps me connect another potential client to a REALTOR.
Posted Jun 30, 2008 @ 6:45 pm, Viewed by 429 Visitors, Read 456 Times.My last REW blog post was about (of all things...) the keywords that we use nowadays that were not used before. Terms like "Short Sale" were simply not in the lexicon until recently.
As part of that post, I made mention of my friend (and REALTOR) in our office, Anne Mayhugh. I wrote about her experience with investment properties in Louisville and how she really knows her stuff. Little did I know that this would reach someone who was looking for someone just like Anne to help her. I received a blog message via email this past weekend from the NICEST person.
Here is a little of what she wrote:
"Hi Eric, I saw your blog and am interested in getting in contact with Anne. If you could forward this information to her, I'd greatly appreciate it. I am a teacher in (edited) and am planning to move to Louisville - with the intention of having a teaching position there by the beginning of school. I have been looking for investment properties in (edited), and the housing available on a (edited) teacher's salary is lousy. So, I've been looking at other areas and have my sights set on Louisville."
She went on to write a really nice note detailing what she was looking for and that she was looking for a long term investing relationship with a REALTOR. SERIOUSLY...I wish I could post publicly her entire message to me just to show you how nice she is. Needless to say I put her in touch with Anne and I look forward to meeting her in a month or two when she pays us a visit!
I had not posted here for a bit, but I certainly will be now. Thanks Morgan for a great search engine friendly place to write and connect with potential clients. I appreciate it. (and so does Anne!)

My pleasure and thanks for the kind words. I need to do MORE of this...been too tied up with all of the other projects on the plate right now... but I must make time to do more of this.
