Why I love Tuesdays...

As the technologist in an office of 110 agents, the days can get long and be stressful. It is well after 9pm as I write this and I have quite a ways to go. I am tired. It has been a long day, and there is still lots to be done on this Monday night. I have some RUSH playing on my headphones to keep me going while my wife starts heading the kids to bed.

But I love Tuesdays.

Everybody has those favorite days of the week when the chores are done and you can do the stuff that really juices you. For me that is coaching, teaching and helping those in our office who WANT to build their online presence in our blogging group. We meet every Tuesday for lunch. How do I know they WANT it?

Simple.

If I cared to look at twitter right now, Scott Hack would be there... If I was able to watch what Jon Karlen was up to, he'd likely be building his new REW site. Some of the other folks in the group would be putting videos on their blogs. It is 9:30 now... Our rag tag group of folks still at work. Why? Because the work is there to be done. That's why.

There are no guarrantees of success in our group. I have failed more times than I can count. But I will happily give to those who reciprocate.

That's why I love Tuesdays. I get to hang out with these guys. Tuesdays for me are not about going to work as much as creating. I find that incredibly fun. I find it refreshing to be around people who think less of how to divide the pie and more about how to find a bigger over and more ingredients...(grin)

Ah well...I have to get on to the next thing, but here's an SEO secret before I go...if you want to succeed, surround yourself with Tuesday sorts of folks. Give to them. (You know it's gonna come back...so why not pay it forward.) SEO is not about taking...it is about relationships. Give and take...and most importantly SHARE.

It is about Tuesdays. Here's hoping you have a week full of them.
