RealEstateWebmasters Conference 2009 - Wheels up.

Instead of tweeting about it or putting everything onto Facebook, I have determined that my handy dandy REW Blog will be where I provide the updates on ALL of this trip!
So what's on the Agenda?
Item 1 is the Real Estate Webmasters conference. Then on to my 25th high school reunion from Calaveras High School. Then on to HomeGain Live Nation 2009 where I will be speaking next Monday.
OK. So you wanna be me? Maybe you don't want to spend the money, but want an all access pass? (grin) No worries! I will be editing this post and sharing photos. (YES, I brought my camera this time. MAJOR mistake last time.)
I have been up since 3;30am Eastern time and it is almost 5:40...next step is to get on the plane to Chicago and then Seattle. I have already texted a couple of clients, had a call with a joint venture partner of mine, checked some backlinks here in the airport, updated my son's Autism Eagle Scout project and stopped by the ATM for some bucks. A well rounded and typical morning in my world.
Passport ? Check
Wallet? Check
Now it is time to fly. If all works as planned, i will be in Nanaimo by 9pm tonight their time (midnight mine). I will keep adding pictures to this post as I go so...come back often to see some of the cool people that I am lucky enough to meet and call friends!

UPDATE #1: In Chcago O'Hare. Found the next gate. Waiting for Smoothie King to open up. (breakfast). Excited to meet up with Malok, Scott Hack and John Allen at Seattle for the drive and the Ferry Ride to Nanaimo. Pictures once we get into Seattle.

Have a great one ! You can be the eyes and ears for those of us that can't make it this year. After I posted about how much they needed to have a segment on Lead Follow-Up and Conversion, I'm not going to be there to enjoy that presentation. Ironic.

@Tom- Sorry you are not here this year! I did not get a chance to say that on a reply to your PM yet, so I will say it here. We arrived in Nanaimo late last night
Update: We (Jon Karlen, Scott Hack and John Allen and I) met up at Seattle (one of the real benefits of these conferences is the chance to talk off the record and really connect), and went to lunch at this Thai restaurant.
I ordered something called Avocado Ckicken Curry (which they affectionately have now dubbed "Shrek Soup". They all ordered something more edible! (grin) (pictures upcoming of said soup)
Anyway, we made it to the Port Angeles ferry and accross to Victoria and drove up to Nanaimo. Beautiful trip and a thoroughly different route.
More when I totally wake up.

And for those who know Scott Hack, you may want to ask him why he wants a) me to drive fast so that the cops pull me over (FTR- did not happen). b) he want them to use the Taser on me...
He mentioned something about it being great link bait! Yikes! Can I ride home with someone else? (grin)

Chaps are a given. I didn't think I needed to say anything.
Scott and Malok need to come down to Orange Beach and work on the tan. When they get a little color we can scoot on down to Sarasota and visit John.
