REMAX Convention 2010 Orlando
This March, I have been invited to teach Search Engine Optimization at the REMAX Convention 201 in Orlando Florida. I have mentioned in previous posts about having lots of REMAX and really enjoying getting together every year and reconnecting (and trading war stories-grin).
REMAX Convention 2010 - The Agenda
Actually, MY agenda will be including meeting up with Marnie Blanco (see my previous blog post about her). I am also looking forward to the keynote speech by mary matalin and James Carville as well. That ought to be a hoot! (Two presicential advisors - from opposite sides of the political spectrum...and they are married. Yikes!)
My biggest agenda item is going to be hanging out with as many REALTORS who have websites as I can and turn them into successful online marketers. (The first step in that is that they become an REW customer as well. (grin)) My business @ EricOnSearch is more and more coming from joint ventures and non real estate business, but real estate is where I started, It is where I met REW and some of the coolest friends I have are in the real estate game.
I enjoy, now more than ever going to REMAX conventions...and 2010 in Orlando will be no different. SO HERE"S the DEAL. Hmmmm - Ireally hate travelling to Orlando (Iimagine that's how the REW's feel from there when they need to travel to the west coast) - but might be well worth it to make some connections - is there an open invite? :)

You are right about the travel. It is easier for me to go to Orlando. Same time zone and a pleasant dtive through Tennessee and Georgia.

They have a marketplace that they charge vendors for. I will check on whether vendors can attend and how. I beleive that they can. Will send you a link via PM.
@ Personal invite. Yeah you can always hang with me. ;-) Would be fun. BTW Google REMAX Convention 2010 Orlando and other similar phrases. ;-) Just trying to walk the walk...
Looking forward to watching the Olympics and seeing some awesome wintertime scenery from BC... will be thinking of y'all....

Hey brother - just got another email from RE/MAX- they didn't realize we are not on some list "approved suppliers?" and thus as a non RE/MAXagent / Non supplier Iam not permitted to attend :(
Ihave sent them some company information to apply to become one, but Ihave no sense of how long that will take.
Here is what they sent me:
"Readingthrough the past couple of e-mails between you and Louisa, I saw that you hadmentioned that you are attending our Convention in Orlando, but we actually donot allow any companies to attend or exhibit at the Convention unless they arean approved supplier."
