Do that for all the walls in the room, then add the square footage numbers together to get the rooms total square footage. Now divide the total square footage by 25 to determine how many single rolls of wallpaper you require to complete the room.

Now that you have figured out how much wallpaper you need, you need to make sure that you have the right tools to get the job done. You will need a good pair of scissors to cut the wallpaper, measuring tape and a utility razor, with many extra blades, for tidying the wallpaper around edges.

You will also need a big sponge to rub the wallpaper once it is on the wall, a putty knife and a seam roller to assist in getting the wallpaper edges together in the appropriate place. You should also have a table as a working area, a ladder or step stool and some water in a tray for wallpaper that may be prepasted or wallpaper paste and a brush for unpasted wallpaper.
