Denver Real EstateWhen a Realtor successfully markets a home for sale, he or she earns a percentage commission for their work.  However, homeowners are often not aware of how much their Realtor actually spends out-of-pocket in the marketing of their home, whether it eventually sells or not.  Since Realtors are independent contractors, they are solely responsible for the costs of marketing and advertising homes for sale. 
 

Here is a quick list of home marketing expenses incurred by Realtors when listing a home for sale:

Building Links For Realtor Websites: Just Say No!

I think almost anyone reading this would agree that if a website is to be found on Google, it needs to have other high-traffic sites linking back to it. However, let’s just think specifically about Realtors for a moment. If you are a Realtor doing a great job for your clients, you are helping them buy and sell homes. You probably have a home search tool on your site, a way for sellers to request home value assessments, as well as other information that is useful to your clients. All of these features are designed to provide better service to your client, or to bring in new clients.    Here’s my question: If it was not required for search engine positioning, would Realtors really spend their precious time seeking out link partners?  What would be the… Read Full Post
