Obtain a portion of the federal money allocated to aid the housing crisis to accomplish the following:

Identify areas saturated by foreclosed properties.

Work with the sellers (banks) to do the necessary repairs to bring these properties up to livable standards.

Identify groups that may be credit risks and provide financial education.

Provide programs to assist buyers.

I am not sure how the city or county of Milwaukee has the program for day care center funding set up but I thought this may be an idea you can use.

I understand that the City of Milwaukee has a program that pays for day care for certain income levels.  There are a number of day care businesses that receive this money.  Many of these businesses are family run and a number of them have purchased homes based on the income generated by the day care business.  Some of these homes have been foreclosed.  How do we avoid this problem?

I have a buyer that is looking for a house to rent.  I need a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath with a 2 car garage.  Rent in the area of $1200 per month with an option to purchase.  We are looking on the areas around Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Sussex, Lannon, Germantown, New Berlin or Butler.  If you have a house or know of some one who is willing to explore the possibility of a rent to own option please contact me.

I do appreciate the urgency you are giving the matter of economic recovery but do you really think it wise to give billions of dollars to a few major corporations that have proven less than an adequate track record when it comes to handling money.  If we follow the advise of each of those companies we would find that the best way to invest is to spread the money out in many different areas. 

If you bail out a few major corporations what guarantee do we have that this will not happen again?  Why would you want to give corporations without proven leadership qualities more money?  It would be much wiser to support the thousands of smaller institutions that are waiting to fill the void made by these few major corporations.
