Expansive Trail System Links Much of Grapevine’s Real Estate

Anyone lucky enough to own a piece of Grapevine real estate can take advantage of the more than 22 miles of hard-surface trails and four miles of soft-surface trails that wind their way throughout this gorgeous north Texas town.

Maintained by the Grapevine Department of Parks & Recreation, the trail system has been designed not only to offer Grapevine residents and visitors easy access to expansive open spaces, but they have also been strategically located to link many important landmarks and attractions throughout the town.

One of the longest trails currently in place is the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail. At approximately four and-a-half miles long, it links Horseshoe Trails Park with Oak Grove Park and Acorn Woods, along the shores of Grapevine Lake.

Another of the more extensive trails is the Big Bear Creek Trail, linking Parr Park and Bear Creek Park through Wall-Farrar Park. At 3.38 miles long, it offers a scenic and enjoyable route for walkers, joggers, and bicyclists alike.

Completed Trail System to Exceed 34 Miles

Upon completion of the trail system, over 34 miles of trails will link Historic Downtown Grapevine with schools, churches, businesses such as the Gaylord Texan and Grapevine Mills Mall, golf courses, and hotels. Two trails will link Grapevine to the town of Coppell.

This beautifully maintained trail system is a bonus for any owner of Grapevine real estate who enjoys spending time outdoors, and offers an attractive and unique way for the many visitors to Grapevine to get around town.
