The upward sales trend that started the year continues in a pretty substantial way. 478 homes were sold and settled in the Fort Meade Real Estate market area of Anne Arundel county in April 2012. That represents an increase of over 12% compared to the same period last year. And a whopping 23% increase over March 2012. The changes we've seen since the beginning of the year are finally coming out in the statistics. I think our April tallies will be even higher as we are seeing isolated communities in the Fort Meade area with greatly increasing sales and moderate price increases. There were 430 homes sold in the Fort Meade Real Estate market area of Anne Arundel county in March 2012. That is an increase of almost 10% from the same period in 2011. Separating out just the attached units (condos, townhomes, duplexes etc) shows a volume increase of over 20%. And we are feeling it in team activity as well.
