     The Manor Golf Country Club is a new gated community in the new incorporated city of Milton which is North of Alpharetta. There are 2 gated entrances presently in place with more to follow as construction goes on. The Tom Watson designed course is a real pleasure as I had a chance to play summer of 2007. With only 80 homes sold so far we were the only ones there! The course lends itself to a links style, the back nine is wooded as homes have not begun in that section. Another section of the community is now under construction in neighboring Cherokee County. There is a temporary club house in place with indoor and outdoor pools as work will soon begin on a Massive club house be built in front of it. There is an indoor tennis facility, practice range and lots of activities for adults and kids.      The Windward community has the distinct honor of  two Arthur Hills designed golf courses known as the golf club of georgia, Lakeside opened in 1991 and Creekside which opened in 1993. There is a gated section to the community and a non gated one. Located in Crab Apple-Alpharetta many of the homes are situated on estate size lots. Styling lends itself to traditional with a few variations thrown in. Great curb appeal to these homes. A family friendly atmosphere, not just a golf club with a full package of amenities. As land lots get smaller and smaller these estate type homes will always be appealing. Prices range from $500,000 to $2,000,000.

Arriving at the clubhouse is a spectacular site, it is sprawling and has a european flair.
