Hidden River is a gated community in Franklin Tennessee that is propably the very pinnacle of the real estate market in the Nashville Tennessee area. The natural beauty of theis upscale estate home community is something that never will lose its appeal. As a result homes in the subdivision do not come on the market very frequently and even though the entry level is around $3,500,000 these homes don't stay on the market for long either. The level lots are all around 8 acres and more and in som... Read Full Post
I'm originally from England and the price of gas in the US (petrol for me) has always been a source of envy for the Brits. The price per gallon in England ( although they use litres now) is probably close to around $6! The effect of this is to drive the auto makers to produce smaller more economical cars. The hybrid seems to becoming more and more popular and as the $4 gallon looms ahead I'm seriously considering trading in my gas guzzling Navigator for a green machine ....saving me some gree... Golfing in Nashville Tennessee I have some clients that have a preference for the area to the South of Nashville within 25 mins of the city. The school system is recognised as being one of the best in the country and Williamson County strives very hard to maintain that reputation. Also the fantastic and extensive shopping facilities at Cool Springs and also the boutique stores in downtown Franklin and The Factory stores all add to the appeal. When they are also considering golf course communi... Read Full Post

The Down Market Brings More Than Prices Down I've been a realtor since March of 2001, and like any business that involves people, I have come in to contact with realtors of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, intelligence, nationality...basically the whole range of types and personalities. Nashville really hasn't seen a collapse in the real estate market but the demand has been reduced from the sellers market of 2005-2006. Agents that had only been in the business for a few months were introduced... Read Full Post
Real Estate Connections I've in real estate for 7 years now and have managed to grow the business to a point where my agents are dealing with the clients that we generate probably more so than me. As the use of the internet has grown in real estate I've tried to adapt my business to meet the demands of home buyers by developing sites like www.NashvilleBuyers.com and www.NashvillesMLS.com However, I'm still very active in the real estate world, and have clients that are just as interesting and... Politics and Real estate For a long time now it has been recognized that political elections are decided by a small group of voters who are generally undecided on who they will vote for in the elections. There are the other voters that will always vote for their party and will not stray from historical alliances and these make up the core of the votes cast for each party. The ones that help push the winning party over the finish line are the floating voters who could vote for either party...o... Read Full Post
