Nashville Real Estate: Still a sellers market

This was another great year for Nashville real estate and the growth of the market. Homes were selling with one day of being listed and multiple offers were common place.
The growth in the real estate market shows no sign of stopping in 2007. Inquiries at my own web site have never been stronger and even with a team of 16 agents staying on top of all the inquiries is a full time job in itself!
The success of the market in Nashville may in some small way also be attributable to the wealth of information available to the home buyer today. Until just recently the home buyer had to rely on out of date real estate magazines with homes that were for sale 2 months ago and were only there now to generate more inquiries for the listing agent.
Todays buyer in Nashville has direct and instant access to the MLS (multiple listing service). With the new technology available the internet utilizing real estate buyer can use an interactive map to locate homes by price, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, year built etc
These searches can then be saved and then the buyer is updated every time there is a new listing of a price reduction.
www.Nashville.com and www.NashvillesMLS.com are two ways of reaching the interactive searches as well a preset searches by area and price.
