Hermosa Drive Elementary, Fullerton CA - Homes for sale.
Hermosa Drive Elementary School is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in north Fullerton. The teachers are very dedicated, parents are involved in their children's education, and it's a very friendly learning environment. The PTA holds regular fundraisers so that books, laptop computers, and other school needs can be purchased.
Hermosa Drive participates in the Fullerton School District's '1 to 1 Learning Program'. Wireless laptop computers (iBook Notebooks) were initially distributed to students in Hermosa's Gifted And Talented Education program (GATE). The 1 to 1 learning program has extended to more students, engaging them in higher-level educational activities. Students learn to find and…

Since many people are actively seeking bank repos in Fullerton, hoping to find a great deal on a home, I decided to make it easy for buyers and include a list of the Fullerton bank repos as listed on the MLS -- Fullerton Bank Repos.
The nice thing is that this list is constantly updated, automatically.
This year I have sold homes owned by such banks as Wells Fargo, Countrywide, Washington Mutual, and GMAC. Hmmmmm...I'm forgetting one. For the most part the homes have been in good condition. Sure, the lawns may have been dead, and the carpet needed replacing, but my clients purchased nice homes for at least 10% under market. And, there were a lot of competing offers. Sometimes, my buyers needed to offer over asking price in order to get it for…

The Brea bank repos I've seen lately are in pretty good condition, underpriced, and have been selling quickly with multiple offers. This is totally in contrast to what I was seeing before -- homes with roof leaks, mold, broken windows, punched-in walls and doors. In one home I previewed, the place was stripped clean -- not only of the usual appliances - but even of the cabinets...and yes, the kitchen sink.
I currently have a bank repo in escrow in the Olinda Ranch area of Brea. The home is in great condition other than a horrible paint job inside, and some dirty carpets. The home is being sold for 10% under the last sale a couple of weeks ago, and this home has a nice hills view. I am so ready for it to close since I've lost some hair on the deal…

Is there nothing good about lower home prices? While it may not feel good if you are a homeowner and your home may be worth less today than it was one year ago, there are some positive aspects to this ‘adjusting’ market. Homes may become more affordable for home buyers, particularly in the lower price segments. The mortgage for yesterday’s $600,000 starter home becomes much more reasonable if prices move down — especially if interest rates decrease as well in the coming months. 2. If you are moving ‘up' , even if your current home loses $50,000 in perceived value, the home you are buying up to will move in a comparable manner down. In effect, you lose nothing and gain everything. 3. if you are happy where you are, and have a mortgage… Read Full Post
