Hermosa Drive Elementary School is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in north Fullerton.  The teachers are very dedicated, parents are involved in their children's education, and it's a very friendly learning environment.  The PTA holds regular fundraisers so that books, laptop computers, and other school needs can be purchased. 

Hermosa Drive participates in the Fullerton School District's '1 to 1 Learning Program'.  Wireless laptop computers (iBook Notebooks) were initially distributed to students in Hermosa's Gifted And Talented Education program (GATE).  The 1 to 1 learning program has extended to more students, engaging them in higher-level educational activities.  Students learn to find and evaluate information to create reports and presentations.

The homes in the neighborhood are very sought after.  It's a quiet area, many of the houses are on large lots, and there is a definite pride of ownership.  Within walking distance to Laguna Lake, the Fullerton Golf Course, and close to shopping, it's a great place to live.
