Bonita Bay Real Estate Sales Update - January to June 2007

Bonita Bay is Bonita Springs premier gated community and is a highly sought after place to live. Encompassing 2,400 acres, Bonita Bay is also the flagship community of the Bonita Bay Group here in Southwest Florida. More than half the community is devoted to open space, including three Arthur Hills-designed golf courses and 12 miles of biking and walking paths. Golf club members also have access to two Tom Fazio courses at Bonita Bay Club East. Located on more than 1,000 acres of Cypress wetlands, there will be no residences permitted at Club East and these courses are enclosed by natural Florida surroundings providing a pure golfing experience.

In addition, Bonita Bay residents enjoy three waterfront recreational areas within the community and a private beach park on the Gulf of Mexico. They are eligible for membership in the Bonita Bay Club, which has two clubhouses, an 18-court tennis and swim center and a new fitness facility. They also are eligible for social or boating memberships at The Marina Club, which offers a full-service marina with storage for 420 boats, waterfront dining and social and travel activities.

- 16 Closed Sales
- Average Sales Price - $452,656
- Average Days on Market - 144
- Price/Sq. Foot - $256.64
In comparison with the 2006 sales data for this same time period, there's been a 10% decrease in both the average price for homes and condominiums. Average days on market rose by 58% for homes and 50% for condominiums year over year respectively.
Bonita Bay offers many home options that you can choose from and growth within the community continues with their newest addition of luxury high-rise condominiums located on Estero Bay. Asking prices vary from the $500s to the multi-million dollar range.
