100th Blog Post - Kudos to REW Blogs and My Crew

Upon reaching this milestone here on REW blogs, I thought it would be good opportunity to point out the positives it has afforded me and my company by giving some kudos to everyone involved in making our first 100 posts here so successful.

Of course, I have to begin with Morgan and the folks at REW for providing this great platform. There is no doubt that it is a wonderful tool for helping all of its users to spread tons of great stuff about the real estate and mortgage industries, but it is also a wonderful place to learn about how best to use the blogosphere to disseminate helpful information to all of our clients.

Having never blogged before, I was a total novice when I began using our REW blog. By following the advice of both the REW team and the many other great contributors who have posted here on how best to approach blogging in general, I have learned what it takes to write useful posts and have been rewarded with over 100,000 page views and more client contacts than I could have ever imagined when I began the endeavor.

Based on a little trial and error on my part and having a few really good subjects to write about at the beginning of our blogging journey, I have also been able to slowly bring around my entire crew at Gulf Coast to join together in helping Terry and me decide on just what types of subjects we try to blog about. My hope now is that as we have all learned over time just how positive the response can be to good blogging efforts, my associates too will find the time and energy to start blogging on their own.

To that end, I have just recently had REW add a company blog directly to our website. Based on the results we have achieved here on our REW blog, the decision to have our own blog was a no brainer. However, I also recognized that not everyone in my crew is as comfortable as many of us are with throwing ourselves out into the public eye. My hope is that by starting off on our own blog, they will be allowed the opportunity to develop their writing skills and overcome any concerns they have about being on a public platform. And, if we can build it into being even half as successful as things have been for us here at REW blogs, it will be well worth its weight in gold. A definite win-win for both my associates and our clients.

So, kudos again to everyone who has helped us grow and learn about how best to use the blogosphere. And, if you get a chance, please stop by our new Southwest Florida Blog. In time, we hope to build it into a useful place for all of you to visit and share.
