How Does the Minimum Wage Hike Effect Campbellsville Kentucky Real Estate?

We are at war, but the big fight is not against foreign terrorism.  After all, how many crimes / terrorist acts are committed daily our local law enforcement officers are dealing with?  Is stealing a candy bar an act of terrorism?  I will say without a doubt, "Yes".

War has been wages against the edcuated middle class of the United States and of course we're too blind to realize it.  As a public school teacher with a Master's Degree, I make around $9 per hour.  My W2 will say nearly $40,000 per year minus taxes.  When the federally mandated minimum wage reaches $7.50+- per hour, essentially that means middle class America will be taking a pay cut.

To make things more clear so those of you who have difficulty understanding math, let's just say we passed the mimium wage law to be $20 per hour.  (It is possible).  Again let me ask you, what happened to your middle class wage?  Does anyone see a pattern here?

With all the above set as a basis to linking real estate values to mimium wage hikes, let me begin.  I'll try to be brief, but that never really happens.  First off, this is not an across the board black and white answer.  As minimum wage increases, inflation rises, which causes everything to go up in price.  Bottom line, the poor did not get a raise, the poor stay poor, but catch up to the "Middle Class".  Which essentially is turning us into  the "poor" as well.

Now, recreational property is the real estate niche that does take a hit on real value.  This is traditionally owned by the hard working middle class.  Whether it is a small chunk of land in the country or a cabin on the lake, these items become less affordable to the average hardwoking middle class person.  These Campbellsville real estate assets will tend to decline in value disproportionately to city property values.

This topic is much more complex than what I wanted to get into.  Maybe others of you could continue on with some thoughts of your own.  I'm drained just thinking about the $73,000 I still owe on college loans only to make the same amount as a mimium wage worker.
