Relocate to Central Kentucky

This is a beautiful time of the year in Central Kentucky. Everything is green and lush, the thoroughbreds are racing around behind white wooden fences, kids are mowing lawns, and here comes the Fourth of July.

I am experiencing a significant upturn in the numbers of people with interest in relocating to the Lexington area. My website, has been attracting a lot of interest as I try to point up the many admirable attributes of this part of the Country. The biggest sell I have is the many lovely, affordable homes currently available and the fact that the cost of living is approximately 14% below the National average. The employment picture, while not robust, is certainly better than most of the larger metropolitan areas in the Country as stability is maintained by the presence of the University of Kentucky.

I honestly believe that Central Kentucky is a perfect place for retirees to start a new life. Our relatively mild climate together with the general affordability of homes and other essentials, plus the University's cultural atmosphere, make it a very nice retirement destination.
