Learn About Tahoma, Park City Utah Townhomes on Rossie Hill

Tahoma will be one of the first development projects in Park City to be certified “green” by Build Green Utah, an organization established to promote energy efficient construction and better building practices in Utah. Build Green Utah was started in 2006 and is fundamentally based on the practices and the certification process established by Built Green Colorado when it was founded in 1995. This Denver based organization is the largest green building program in the Nation and has earned an excellent reputation for promoting quality green building practices and establishing strong brand name recognition in the Denver market, ultimately increasing consumers’ confidence when purchasing a Built Green home.

The criteria established by the Built Green checklist are designed to provide greater energy efficiency, reduce pollution, provide healthier indoor air, reduce water usage, preserve natural resources, improve durability and reduce maintenance during the construction and ownership of new homes.

The certification process for Tahoma will include periodic inspections by an approved third-party environmental group during construction. This group will confirm our use of specific materials and the employment of certain building practices as required by the Built Green checklist. The environmental consultant is also responsible for keeping track of the checklist for each residence and ultimately issuing or denying the certifications.

In addition to earning a certification from Build Green Utah, Tahoma is also registered under the Built Green Colorado program and will also be certified as an Energy Star New Home.

Architect
Jonathan DeGray, a prominent member of the development community in Park City, has been practicing architecture in the Park City-Summit County area for more than 15 years. He has the well earned reputation for being “the” architect when it comes to working with small lots in Old Town due to his ability to design attractive homes with efficient layouts that meet all the City’s historic guidelines. Jonathan’s practice includes commercial properties, historic district homes and larger custom homes.

Contractor
Rob Wolff (RW Wolff Construction LLC) was selected as the general contractor to build Tahoma because of his impeccable reputation with his current and past clients. Rob has been building custom homes in Park City, Utah for twenty-six years and has built strong relationships with his sub-contractors and the Park City Building Department. Rob takes great pride in providing excellent customer service, while maintaining strong attention to detail and dedicating himself to an exceptionally high level of quality in the construction of his client’s homes.
