Located in the outskirts of Tonawanda NY, Kenmore is often called the "Ken-Ton" area. Kenmore is the home of the very sought after Linberg School district. The Village has many beautiful turn of the century homes,with a price range average iof $93,413.00. During the month of August alone, homes sold within an average of 26 days of being on the market, with prices ranging from $154,000.00 to $39.900.00. Kenmore is currently working to revitalize the Deleware Avenue business district with everything from new sidewalks to new trach receptacles. The project was paid for from a $1.7 mil. grant in a fund from the Dept. of Transportation. The "Streetscape Project" began in the fall of 2002 with most of the work being completed this year. Hi Irene, congrats on your first post. My cousin lives in Kenmore on a quiet tree lined street. Even though her home is probably quite old, I remember the intricate detail of all the wood trim throughout the home. It was really beautiful.
