December 2009 was Good for Indianapolis Builders

Home builder in metro Indy have reason to celebrate.  In December, the home builders had the best month of the year.  The Indianapolis Star reported today that permits jumped 33% compared  to December of 2008. 

Sales however for the year were down 21% to 3625 homes compared to 2008.  This is the lowest number of sales in the last decade.
