Home builder in metro Indy have reason to celebrate.  In December, the home builders had the best month of the year.  The Indianapolis Star reported today that permits jumped 33% compared  to December of 2008.  Sales however for the year were down 21% to 3625 homes compared to 2008.  This is the lowest number of sales in the last decade.
