Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World and The Power of REW Blogs

I am not, nor do I claim to be, any sort of SEO expert.  Quite the contrary, I am a SEO novice, or is it a beginner?  Whatever it is, I feel like I know just enough to enough to be dangerous.  I have not had much time to dedicate to the greatest real estate agent in the world contest because, thanks in large part to an awesome new REW IDX, I am busier than ever selling real estate.  I try to take in as much SEO knowledge as possible, but quickly get overwhelmed by how much there is to know and how fast it changes.  I read several blogs everyday and try to glean as much information as my tiny brain will allow, but yet I still feel overwhelmed and confused.  With the competition getting stiffer and more crowded, I feel halfway decent that I am 15th-ish in this contest.

Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World – Why I Think I am 15th

While I have little proof for what I am about to say, it is my best guess.  I believe the main reason I am doing halfway decent in this competition in thanks to the power of the REW blogs.  For starters, REW offers an amazingly powerful platform for real estate agents to get message across in an amazingly quick timeframe.  Secondly, I work on getting links not only to my site, but also my REW blog.  Anytime I can put a RSS feed to my blog, I also include my REW blog as well.  I refer to it, with links, whenever I can to bolster the power of my REW blog.  Why?  Because my REW blogs provides some awesome links to my site and helps me rank better.  As a result of my efforts to link to my REW blog, I have managed to get it to a PR3 (I know PR isn’t everything, we can have that discussion later).  I guess what I am trying to say is that REW offers real estate agents a pretty big microphone to start off with but with a little effort you can turn up the volume and make it even louder.

I will also post later on my observations about the greatest real estate agent in the world contest and a synopsis of what I have done (shockingly little) so far.  So will this greatest real estate agent in the world post make any difference in my rankings?  Who knows?  Let's wait and see.
