It has been reported that the New Jersey Real Estate market is doing so much better than the national news media would have you think.
Recently it was reported on CNBC News as well as in the Otteau reports the lower to medium priced homes in North East New Jersey actually have appreciated about 1/2% since August of 2006.
My personal experience has been that the real estate market here in Morris, Essex, & Union Counties has been picking up since April of 2007. In the spring the New Jersey real estate market was very slow, but now we are almost back to normal levels of activity.
In the month of August Madison NJ had 13 home sales and Chatham NJ had 28 home sales.
