Madison NJ Real Estate Update

The Madison Real Estate Market is holding its own.  There are currently 84 homes on the market as of the end of May there were 39 homes under contract.  These numbers highlight the importance of making sure that you hire the best Realtor to market your home, and to price your home properly from the start.  The old method of pricing a home high and hoping to get it and reducing if you don't does not work well anymore. 

Today pricing a home aggressively as compared to its competition is the best way to make sure to get the best price for your home, and hopefully a bidding war on it as well.

It is also important to make sure when you are interviewing Realtors that you ask plenty of questions about how he/she will market your home on the Internet.  Many home sellers may not realize that over 80% of today's home buyers start their search on the Internet, and it has been said that the majority of these buyers only look at 6 homes in person before selecting the home they actually purchase.  Where do you want your home Marketed??
