The Midtown Direct Real Estate Market Report

It has been two weeks since I published the last update covering towns along the New Jersey Transit Midtown Direct Line. Things are moving along though slower than most would like. Many of the towns in Morris County are still experencing a recovery in home sales as compaired to the spring market. Union County seems to be slowing a bit though moderatly priced homes still seem to be selling at a decent pace. Essex County is a mixed bag, with places like Short Hills / Millburn, & Maplewood doing fairly good, but Livingston and many of the towns to the east not doing so well.
Want to do a little of your own real estate market research? Check out Morris County Realtor you can do all the research you wish and you can even save searches so that when things change with any houses you might be interested in, you will get a e-mail right away.
In todays market it is especially important to be working with a Realtor who knows the market well, and understands what it takes to make sure you get the best deal possible. Many people think that one the buyers side it does not matter what Realtor they choose to work with. I beg to differ, when purchasing a 300K to 2 Million dollar home it is very important to have someone on your side that is a strong negotiator, as well as someone who pays attention to detail and makes sure that you get everything that you have coming to you.
